MATERIAIS DIVERSOS é uma associação cultural sem fins lucrativos que incentiva a investigação e experimentação artísticas. Tem como missão atrair e sensibilizar múltiplos públicos para as artes performativas, com especial enfoque na dança contemporânea.
Apoia a criação e a difusão de projetos associados dos artistas FILIPA FRANCISCO, MARCELO EVELIN, PABLO FIDALGO LAREO e RAQUEL ANDRÉ.
Programa e promove em parceria com vários municípios do país ESPETÁCULOS, AÇÕES DE FORMAÇÃO E DE MEDIAÇÃO, RESIDÊNCIAS ARTÍSTICAS E TÉCNICAS.
Organiza o FESTIVAL MATERIAIS DIVERSOS, um projeto pioneiro na promoção do acesso à criação e descentralização artística, que desde 2009 leva a populações e palcos fora dos grandes centros urbanos uma seleção cuidada de projetos nas áreas da dança, teatro e música, assinados por jovens criadores e artistas consagrados, portugueses e estrangeiros. O festival é membro da EFFE – Europe for Festivals Festivals for Europe e tem o Alto Patrocínio de Sua Excelência, o Presidente da República.
A Associação integra a REDE Associação de Estruturas para a Dança Contemporânea nacional e é uma estrutura financiada pela República Portuguesa - Cultura / Direção-geral das Artes, e pelos municípios de Alcanena e Cartaxo.

MATERIAIS DIVERSOS is a non-profit cultural association that encourages artistic research and experimentation. It aims to sensitize multiple publics towards performing arts, with special focus on contemporary dance.
Supports the creation and the diffusion of associated projects by FILIPA FRANCISCO, MARCELO EVELIN, PABLO FIDALGO LAREO e RAQUEL ANDRÉ.
Programmes and promotes in partnership with several municipalities of Portugal SHOWS, WORKSHOPS and ARTISTIC AND TECHNICAL RESIDENCIES.
Organizes the MATERIAIS DIVERSOS FESTIVAL, a project pioneer in the promotion of access to creation and artistic decentralization, which, since 2009, has brought to populations, stages and venues away from big cities and traditional cultural circuits a careful selection of artistic projects of dance, theatre and music, created by young and well-known artists, Portuguese and foreigners. The festival is a member of EFFE - Europe for Festival Festivals for Europe and has the Higher Sponsor of the President of the Portuguese Republic.
The association is a member of REDE Portuguese Association of Contemporary Dance Organizations. The association is funded by the Portuguese Government – Culture and the municipalities of Alcanena and Cartaxo.
